Iris Katrin Riedl, daughter of the founder of heavy transport, industrial service and project logistics specialist Riedl Group, strengthens the management of the group’s core company, Hagen based Rolf Riedl GmbH, as from 1st January 2004. Born 2nd June 1975 in Ruhr city Herdecke, Iris Riedl signs responsible especially for project management, acquisitions and marketing.


Even during her education in Germany, Iris Riedl after one year’s studies in USA in 1992/93 graduated from Georgetown-Ridgefarm Highschool in Illinois, and took Abitur examination one year later at Theodor-Heuss-Gymnasium at Hagen. She continued studying bachelor of commerce at Westfalian Wilhelms University at Münster completing in 2001 with a diploma specialised in marketing, international market management and accounting & controlling.

While at universal studies, Iris Riedl gained practical knowledge and expericiences as a trainee in diverse professional activities in Germany and abroad. So she was active at the Novolog special steel terminal near Philadelphia in shipping, handling and storage and inland shipment by rail and truck of steel products. In Birmingham, UK, Iris was engaged in wordlwide trading and transport of hydraulic presses and conducted a market study of Far Eastern press markets. At Düsseldorf she was involved in trading and shipment of steel products to Eastern Europe, United States and Indian Subcontinent. In 2001 Iris Riedl was appointed product manager by IT specialist Vodafone D2 GmbH before she entered into the management of her father’s enterprise stepping into worldwide heavy transport and project logistics.
