We, Transportes Vernazza SRL from Argentina, would like to share with you the following achievement, so that you know the state-of-the-art equipment we have and work with, as well as the know-how we can apply for each special challenge.

We have recently transported two turbine blocks of 357 tons each, as a part of the provision of more components (transformers, generators, etc) from Puerto Madryn Port to Aluar Power Station within Argentina. A three km long bridge in the sea was the road where the following equipment started its journey.

The transportation equipment used has consisted of a trailer system with hydraulic suspension with a total of 384 tyres, divided into two parts of 192 tyres each with directional axles. All these pieces of equipment had a girder frame in the middle where the load was supported. Such strong beam with hydraulic commands was built in Italy.

The whole equipment was 115 meters long and 7,50 meters wide in its widest part. We used three Mack (USA) trucks of great traction power: two to pull and one to push at the back.

The design of such transport took months of planning and studying, together with oficial authorities.

The services provided also included the discharge and installation of all components.
